HOW TO REGISTER FOR A LIECHTENSTEIN DRIVING LICENCE

To apply for a learner’s permit or driver’s license, send a fully completed application form including a vision test and first aid certificate (exception to first aid certificate: categories M, G and F) to our office. After checking the documents, you will receive the admission card for the theory test by post. This is through the administration and it takes longer. Driving licence exchange in Liechtenstein
All EU/EEA driving licenses are recognized in Liechtenstein and do not need to be exchanged, provided that the move does not result in any changes to the document. We still ask you to deposit a copy of your license with the Road Traffic Office.
